About SALT.
SALT. began as a quiet pursuit among architects with a simple observation;
"Lighting was everywhere but rarely understood." Too bright. Too harsh. Too thoughtless.
We believed light could be more...
Light has the power to transform how we see, feel, and connect with a space. At SALT, we've dedicated ourselves to mastering that experience. And we're nowhere near finished.
Engineering the invisible
Every SALT luminaire is built with purpose. It is a deliberate balance of advanced technology and minimalist design. We manage the complex science inside the housing so the light can seamlessly dissolve into your ceiling, allowing the architecture to speak for itself.
Our story so far
SALT was founded on a simple idea: that light is one of the most powerful materials in architecture. It defines form, reveals texture, influences emotion, and shapes the way people experience the world around them. Over the years, we have developed architectural lighting solutions that balance performance with restraint, creating luminaires that integrate effortlessly into the built environment. Every product is guided by a commitment to precision, visual comfort, and lasting quality because great lighting should be felt before it is noticed.
Today, our work extends across residences, workplaces, hospitality venues, retail environments, and public spaces. As architecture continues to evolve, so does our pursuit of better light. The technologies may change, but our purpose remains constant: to create lighting that enhances the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit.
The journey has only just begun.
True Color
Illumination should reveal a room accurately. Our fixtures are calibrated to bring out the natural warmth of wood, the texture of fabrics, and true skin tones, just as they appear in natural daylight.
A New Perspective.
True comfort requires more than mere visibility. It is found in balance, knowing exactly where to invite a shadow, and how to adapt to the shifting rhythms of your day. Born from collaboration with creators, SALT was founded to elevate the everyday. We are here to help you discover the profound difference between simply illuminating a room and truly bringing it to life.
The minds behind precision
