About SALT․
Light isn't just something we need. To us, light is more than a necessity.
Light was everywhere but rarely understood. And we believed light could be more...
It began with a fascination for how light can shape a space, giving it life,
a sense of character, and the quiet ability to transform architecture.
The task was simple, to create timeless lighting luminaires without compromise. Products made with enough care that you would want to take one home yourself.
Invisible by Design
Every luminaire is built with purpose. It is a deliberate balance of advanced technology and minimalist design. We manage the complex science inside the housing so the light can seamlessly dissolve into your ceiling, allowing the architecture to speak for itself. Every detail is considered, from the precision of the optics to the quality of the materials, to create a lighting experience that feels effortless and refined. The result is a quiet, unobtrusive presence that delivers exceptional performance without competing for attention. Luminaire is designed to complement the space, enhance its character, and let light become an integral part of the architecture.
Our story so far
SALT began with a simple idea, that light can shape the way a space is experienced. The deeper the exploration went, the clearer it became that lighting is not simply about illumination. It is about balance, precision and restraint. That thinking shaped every luminaire that followed. Performance is carefully considered, optics are precisely engineered, materials are chosen with intention, and every detail is refined to allow the light to belong naturally within the architecture.
But light was only part of the equation. As spaces became more dynamic, controls became a natural extension of the lighting itself connecting light with automation, scenes and the way people use spaces. This brought another layer to the experience. Light that could respond, adapt and change with its surroundings. Today, SALT brings light, architecture and intelligent controls together as one ecosystem. The result is more than lighting. It is spatial intelligence, spaces that respond to people, adapt to their needs and enhance the way they are experienced.
